In celebration of World Environment Day on June 5, 2025, Trinity Steel Pvt Ltd, one of our esteemed member companies, is organizing a Lagoon Cleanup at Negombo Lagoon on Saturday, June 14, 2025.
This meaningful initiative is part of their continued commitment to the environment, aiming to improve the health and beauty of our natural surroundings. Through this effort, participants will remove waste and debris from the lagoon's shoreline, contributing to a cleaner and safer ecosystem.

Our member company – Crystal Martin Ceylon Pvt Ltd in collaboration with MAS foundation for Change has installed their 2nd floating trash trap across Wattala Canal (Kalu Ela) yesterday to arrest the migration of plastic waste before reaching the Kelaniya River.
​Donation of Hygiene Products to an Elder Home in Seeduwa
Projects conducted by FTZMA in the recent years
a. A Cash donation of Rs 65,000 to Katunayake Police station to build a rest room for Women Police.
b. Rs 100,000 as an initial payment to establish Day Care Centre inside KEPZ followed by Rs 1 million donation to build a trust fund to its sustainability in the future.
c. Rs 50,000 donation to KEPZ Sports Association to organize New Year Festival.
d. Donation of a stretcher for the use of MOH medical unit at BOI.
e. Rs 57,000 worth of sofa set to Hinatiyana Dhammaloka Maha Vidayalaya counselling room Rs 225,000 worth of water tanks to people living in the close proximity of KEPZ as a drought relieving measure.
f. Distribution of Food as relief for 75 families impacted by flood in Katunayake and Seeduwa area.
g. Donating needy hospital utensils to Base hospital Negombo for worth of Rs 2 million.
CRECHE /Child Day Care Centre
This Children's Day Care Centre was established in KEPZ by FTZMA, with the support of BOI and its member enterprises. The centre provides a safe and nurturing environment for the children of employees working in KEPZ enterprises. During the day, while the employees are occupied with their tasks at their respective workplaces, they can rest assured that their children are being well cared for at this facility.
