Become a Member

Joining the FTZMA is straightforward and beneficial for professionals and businesses alike. Follow these steps to apply for membership:

 

1. Request an Application:

  • Write to the Secretary General of the Association via email address – ftzma@sltnet.lk.

  • Download the application from the link provided below.

OR

  • Submit a request online.

2. Submit Your Application:

  • By submitting your application, you agree to adhere to the objectives and rules (Bylaws) of the Association. Please ensure to share Certificate of Incorporation from the Registrar of Companies and your BOI registration certificate along with the application.

  • Your application will be reviewed at the next Executive Committee (EXCO) meeting.

 

3. Approval Process:

  • Upon ratified your application by the EXCO, you will receive a written notification from the secretariat.

  • You would also receive an invoice from the secretariat to make your membership payment upon ratification of your application by EXCO

 

4. Endorsement Requirement:

  • An existing member in good standing (who has followed the Association's rules and has no outstanding membership fees) must endorse your application.

  • If needed, our secretariat could further check your credentials with BOI.

 

5. Membership Fees:

  • For Enterprises having employees >200 to pay USD 200 per annum including the registration fee

  • For companies having employees <200 to pay USD 140 per annum including the registration fee

 

The above membership can be paid in LKR whilst taking the middle rate of exchange (MROE) updated in the CBSL website on the date of payment.
